She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Strong and Jo Ann Strong (Mowery); her husband Floyd A Lewis; her son Charles F. Lewis; and her siblings, Jack Strong and Candace Strong.

She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Lewis (Tina) of Edgewater, Florida and Wayne Lewis (Reeann Dudley) of Port Orange, Florida.; her siblings, Shirley Musick of Ashland, Kathy Beamer of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Charles H. Strong Jr. of Edgewater, James Miller of Daytona Beach and Marvin Strong of Daytona Beach, Florida; and her grandchildren, Michael, Madysen and Aleigha.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joyce's memory to Halifax Hospice of Daytona Beach.
