Douglas Edward Parnell Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 22, 2026, at the age of 71, Douglas Edward Parnell of Ellenton, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Douglas leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Parnell and Mary Helen Parnell (Tucker); and his brother Phil Parnell. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Buck of Metairie, LA and Tyra Sanchez (Clie) of Lithia, FL; and his grandchildren, Anthony Porche, Brittany Williams and Ashley Williams.
