He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stokes and Florence Stokes Sr.; his parents-in-law, Marion Gaddis, Martha Gaddis Martin and George Martin; and his sister Jane Gilbertson (Richard Gilbertson).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stokes; his daughters, Kim Potts (Matt) and Linda Damiano (Scott); his sister Florence "Flossie" MacLeod (Robert); and his grandchildren, Matthew Potts, Kelsey Potts and Gabriella Damiano. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
