He was predeceased by: his parents, James Greene and Bessie Hopkins; his siblings, Jim and Bonnie; his son Robert Greene, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Sarah Armstrong Greene.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Greene (Stevenson); his son Michael Greene; his granddaughters, Grace of St. Paul, MN and Emma Greene of St. Paul, MN; his daughters, Lisa Cline (Sean) of Olive Branch, MS and Amy Williams; his grandsons, Miles of Greenwood, MS and Max Williams of Greenwood, MS; his sister-in-law Cindy Flynn (Rick) of New Port Richey, FL.; his sibling's children, Erin Flynn, Michael Flynn (Kerri) and Jim Green; his great-niece Collen Flynn; and his sister Judy.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Palmetto Moose Lodge 2117 (203 9th St W, Palmetto, FL 34221).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of his daughter-in-law, Sarah, or to the Dementia Society of America.
