He was predeceased by: his parents, C. M. "Brim" Bayless and Mary Myrtle Silvey Bayless; and his former wife Emily Pace Bayless. He is survived by: his wife Florence Emily Pace of Mulberry, Florida.; his friend Christian; his daughters, Cathy Slusser (Glen) and Stephanie Lenart (Bob); his grandchildren, Robert Slusser, Robert Lenart, Timothy Slusser (Miranda) and Emily Lenart; and his great grandchild Jonah Robert Slusser. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Groover Funeral Home (1400 36th Ave E, Ellenton, FL 34222).
