He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Payne (John), Judy Downing (Joe), Jerry Gantz (Carla), Mike Gantz and Jane Toms (Phil); his nieces and nephews, David Downing, Danny Downing (Valen), Ellen Downing, Carley DeVore (Matt) and Jennie Samons (David); and his close friends, Susie and Terry Longpre.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
