We announce the death of Danny Steele Neely of Englewood, Florida, who passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 73. Danny will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Neely and Marianna Neely. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his sons, Danny Neely II (Brittany) and Jason Neely (Maggie); his stepchildren, Megan Curtis (Robert) and Josh Wells (Daphane); and his grandchildren, Margaret Dean Neely, Danny Steele Neely III, Kylie Neely, Brady Neely, Josh Davis (Lexi), Jenna Davis and Grant Wells. He is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Winchester Country Club.
