He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Traverse and Rosetta T. Traverse. He is survived by: his wife Maureen P. Traverse of Estero, Florida; his daughter Meaghan M. Traverse (Christopher T. Cox) of Annandale, Virginia; his grandchildren, John Cox and Maggie Cox; and his siblings, Paul Traverse (Joan) of Milton, Massachusetts and Maureen Collins of Quincy, Massachusetts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
