He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernand Honorius LaBonte and Jane A. LaBonte (Satti); his former wife Patricia A. Ashleigh; his wife Ruth G. Coleman (Beaupre); his children, Deborah Howlette and John "JC" Coleman; and his grandchildren, Michael LaBonte Jr., Rebecca LaBonte and Kerri Coleman.
He is survived by: his significant other Paulette Cooke of Estero, Florida; his sons, James LaBonte (Donna) of Warwick, Steven "Beaver" Coleman (Bonnie) of Massachusetts and Michael Coleman (Renee) of Massachusetts; and his brother Fred LaBonte (Joanne) of Southbridge, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by niece, a nephew, many great-nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
