He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cox and Lois Cox (Williams); and his brothers, William and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Carol Cox; his children, Jeffrey Cox and Melissa Cox; his grandson Henry Cox; and his siblings, Nancy O'Neill (Thomas), Thomas and James (Joanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
