He was predeceased by: his wife Emily Ann Davis; his parents, Carl and Callie; and his siblings, Grace Stalnaker and Tom Howard.
He is survived by: his sister Eloise Bower; and his sibling's children, Becky Archer, Linda Staley Caroline Edwards and Bob Bower.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to go to Wounded Warrior Project.
