He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Henry Jennings Rou Sr. and Martha Albright Rou; his wife Ann Huffstetler Rou; his children, Jennifer Woodbury (Mark), Henry Jennings Rou III (Diane) and Alison Rou (Liz Tigelaar); his grandchildren, Abigail Roulston (Stewart), Grace Woodbury, William Matthew Rou and Wilder Henry Tigelaar-Rou; his great grandchild Theodore Henry Roulston; his sister-in-law Linda Rou; and his brother Michael Albright Rou, Sr.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Although Jennings made many contributions to the Citrus Industry, his optimism, experience and leadership during the devastating freezes of the 1980s made a large impact on the industry.
