In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping John's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Theresa Anne Peterson; and his brother Thomas Peterson. He is survived by: his spouse Eulalie (Betty); his brother Daniel Peterson; his children, Craig Peterson (Barb) and Leslie Peterson; and his stepdaughters, Sandra Riley (late Jett Riley) and Linda Chapman (Randy). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
Some of his contributions to U.S. Air Force satellites included the OV1-13 and OV1-14.
