She was predeceased by: her parent Tibitha Fletcher Martin; her siblings, Jim Martin, Tom Martin, Phyllis Jean Cox and Edith Catherine Brown; and her daughter Carol Westendorf.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Madden. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Rose has made the decision to donate her body to science and will be helping further the education of future academics and researchers.
