With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Kathleen Holloway (Fernandina Beach, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Betty's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Betty's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence Strickland and Oner Crews Strickland; her daughters, Gail Wood of Fernandina Beach, FL., Rita Hansen (Bruce Hansen) of Chattanooga, TN and Kathryn Rushing of Fernandina Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Donna, Frank and Cheryl; and her brother Alvin Strickland (Peggy Strickland). She was also cherished by her 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren; her extended family.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Barnabas Center or Council on Aging.
