He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Downey and Margaret Downey; and his daughter Jennifer Schwegel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Downey; his children, Brian Downey (Amy), Jessica Visek (Steven) and Meghan Detweiler (Matthew); his son-in-law Jude Schwegel; and his grandchildren, Jack, Wyatt Downey, Kristin, Josie Visek and Abigail Detweiler. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends.
