Cecil Alvin Bennett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecil Alvin Bennett of Fernandina Beach, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther W. Bennett and Anna Church Bennett; his wife Mary Catherine Bruni Bennett; his grandchildren, Brad Bennett and Deron Bennett; and his siblings, Luther, Jr., Louis, Grace, Louise, Kathryn, Jean, Helen and Hubert.
He is survived by: his children, Cecil Alvin Bennett, Jr. (Mary), Cecilia McCarthy (Kevin) and Julia Powell (David). He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild as well as a large extended family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (202 N 4th St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034).
Rather than flowers, please make donations in his memory to St. Michaels Catholic Church or St. Michaels Academy.
