He is survived by: his wife Fawn Robin Avant; his children, Colquitte Christopher Avant, Eric Neil Avant and Taria Anne Camerino (Denver); his grandchildren, Syama Lee, Maitreya Camerino, Angel Marie Painter, Haley Diefenbaugh, Alyssa Diefenbaugh, Chloe Diefenbaugh and Jackson Womble; and his siblings, Tom Brown (Bussy) and Dale Jane Brown.
