She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lewis Nelson and Faye Keene Nelson (Alene Nelson); her siblings, Norma Jean Baker and James Nelson, Jr. (Jimmy); and her nephew-in-law Paul Alexander.
She is survived by: her brother Allen Nelson (Elise); her sibling's children, Brian Edenfield (Susan), Travis Baker, Corey Nelson, Carter Nelson, Connor Nelson, Connie Renee Alexander, Ashley Nelson Warwick (Tripp) and Annalise Nelson; and her uncle Harvin Carter (Kay).
