He was predeceased by: his brother Brad Bennett; his cousin Philip Godwin; and his grandparents, Harold, Maude Godwin and Mary Catherine Bennett.

He is survived by: his parents, Mary Bennett and Al Bennett; his grandfather Cecil A. Bennett; and his sister-in-law Kristi Bennett. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
