We are sad to announce that, on May 18, 2023, at the age of 89, Etheleen H. Gilder (Fernandina Beach, Florida), born in Odum, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Herrin (Bud) and Ethel Herrin; her brothers, Fleming, Vernon, Jimmy, Lamar and Billy; her grandson Jarrod Tyre; and her nieces and nephews, Miranda Anderson, Karol Herrin, Ronnie Tyre, Marty and Tracy Herrin.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Gilder; her children, Julie Boatright (Ronnie), Mike (Yvonne) of Fernandina Beach and Jerry Gilder (Sherri) of Fernandina Beach; her grandchildren, Jody, Will, Shandy and Noah; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner Jones, Haylee and Kaylin Swinnell; and her siblings, Josephine Tyre of Jesup, Faye Griffis of Jesup, Dale Anderson (Roger) of Jesup, Ernie Herrin of Augusta, Herbert Herrin (Joyce) of Valdosta, Bobby, Ray Herrin (Sharon) of Jesup, Charles (Hodie), Herrin Herrin (Sharon) of Odum and Benny Herrin (Erika) of Blairsville. She is also survived by thirty-six nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
