He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Mae Burch and John Henry Grant; his stepfather Garfield Burch; his brother Tony Robinson; his sister-in-law Johnnie Mae Grant; his goddaughter Pamela Bridgewater; and his adoptive father Eugene Albert of Philadelphia.

He is survived by: his wife Marion Green; his daughters, Michelle Grant Harris Ocala (Brandon) and Marsha Grant of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren, Eboni Harris of Gainesville, Morgan Ford of Jacksonville, Elissa Harris and Elijah Harris of Ocala, Florida; his brother Sylvester Grant of Port St; his godsons, Christopher "Cordell" Calhoun (Angel) of Jacksonville and Malcolm Wilcox of Fernandina Beach, Florida; and his uncle Benjamin Isaac (Lillie Mae) of Yulee, Florida. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
