With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Michael Fobert (Fernandina Beach, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joanne Fobert (Wells) and Francis "Bud" Fobert; his mother-in-law Patricia Williams; his sister-in-law Barbara Depoorter; and his nephew Cory Creger.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fobert; his sons, Brandon (Carrie Fobert), Tyler (Allison Fobert) and Mitchell (Erika Fobert); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Emmett, Callen, Isaac, Noah and Ayla; his siblings, David (Barb Fobert), Rita (Larry Daffara), Pam (Mike Creger), Jim (Kathy Fobert), Theresa (Tony Martinez), Mary (Troy Randall), Joni (Bill Saelens), Tom (Laurie Fobert), Cheryl (Doug Akin), Rob (Lori Fobert), Steve (Kim Fobert) and Greg (Sandy Fobert); his father-in-law Thomas (Amelda Jaynes); and his brother-in-law Michael Jaynes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (715 Ash St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034). A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery.
