It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thurlon McSwain of Fernandina Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Lois McSwain. He is survived by: his wife Irene Grimmett McSwain of Cullman Alabama; his sons, Michael McSwain (Shuri) of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Tony McSwain of McDonough, Georgia; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Jenifer, Sean and Tiffany; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Ella, Grey, Banks, Kari and Madison.

Rather than flowers Jim asked that donations be made in His memory to: Community Hospice & Palliative Care https://thefoundationcares.org.
