It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Clide Jones Scott of Fernandina Beach, Florida, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Scott; her parents, Clyde Higginbotham and Ethyl Higginbotham; and her son Dwayne Jones. She is survived by: her daughter Janet Hillis (Dana) of Naples, FL; and her stepsons, Michell of Fernandina Beach, Hadley of Fernandina Beach and Dennis Scott of Fernandina Beach. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
