With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanette C. Springer (Fernandina Beach, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Wiley Chase and Jean Ramsay; her husband Thomas Eugene Springer, Jr.; and her daughter Susan Elizabeth Hackney. She is survived by: her children, Steven, Scott of Hampton, VA and Sharon; and her grandchildren, Thomas James Springer, Amanda Suzanne McBurney (Matt), Leslie Ann Ornoff (Michael), Jessica Marie Springer, William Alan Glass (Natalie), Victoria Jean Hackney, Joseph Scott Springer, Jace Ryan Glass and Charles Wayne Hackney.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Oxley Heard Funeral Home (1305 Atlantic Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034).
