She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Wiley Chase and Jean Ramsay; her husband Thomas Eugene Springer, Jr.; and her daughter Susan Elizabeth Hackney. She is survived by: her children, Steven, Scott of Hampton, VA and Sharon; and her grandchildren, Thomas James Springer, Amanda Suzanne McBurney (Matt), Leslie Ann Ornoff (Michael), Jessica Marie Springer, William Alan Glass (Natalie), Victoria Jean Hackney, Joseph Scott Springer, Jace Ryan Glass and Charles Wayne Hackney.
