It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy June Turner of Fernandina Beach, Florida, born in Folkston, Georgia, who passed away on January 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John W. Smith and Catherine Majors Smith; her husband Windle Turner; her sons, Michael Turner and Ben Turner; and her siblings, Johnny Smith, Shirley Smith and Janice Gill.

She is survived by : her children, Michelle Davis (Jeff) of Blackshear, GA, Lisa Nickless (Darby) of Fernandina Beach and Jim Turner (Heather) of Fernandina Beach; and her sister Pam Austin (Steve Smith) of Hilliard. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
