He is survived by: his wife Renee Thornton of Fernandina Beach; his children, Andrew Thornton (Kim) of Fernandina Beach, Lindsey Thornton (Dylan Taylor) of Yulee and Jordan Thornton (Braxton Dean) of Fernandina Beach; his mother Lois Thornton of Fernandina Beach; his siblings, John Thornton (Deborah) of Yulee, Marie Winkler of Fernandina Beach and Billy Thornton of Fernandina Beach; and his grandchildren, Emma, Gracyn, Noah, River, Keegan, Owen and Presley.
