She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Paul Ruffing, Sr.; and her brother Oscar Paul Ruffing, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband George John Mattey; her sisters, Rosemary Kennedy Miller and Anne Marie Newcomb; her children, George J. Mattey II (Tsuilin) of Davis, California, Susan, Spicer of Hilliard, Ohio, Nancy Beth Mattey of Medina, Ohio, Shelley Corbett (Doug) of Yulee, Florida, Rebecca Hedges (Larry) of Jacksonville, Florida, Gretchen Koch (Steve) of Upper Arlington and Thomas Mattey (Christy) of Medina Ohio; and her grandchildren, Jessica Hedges Hoisington (Daniel), Robert Mattey Spicer, Thomas Mattey and Michael.
