It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nora Freeman Thomas (Fernandina Beach, Florida), who passed away on February 13, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Maxwell and Nettie Little Freeman; her husband Vernon Lee Thomas (Jack); and her siblings, Hazel Edwards, Leo Freeman, Powell Freeman and Lonnie Freeman.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda McAllister (Guy), Jerry Thomas (Nancy) and Tracey Winton (Steve); her grandchildren, Hannah McAllister, David McAllister, Megan Thomas, Sarah Thomas, James Thomas, Amelia Edwards (Tyler) and Racheal Ham (Justin); and her sister Sarah Arnold (Wesley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church building fund, 1600 S. 8th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 or Cat's Angels, 709 S. 8th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
