He was predeceased by : his parent Jahazah Spikes Strickland; and his siblings, Paul, Ned, Joel, Betty, Therese, Dorothy and Jack.
He is survived by : his wife Margaret Strickland; his children, Stephen Strickland (Torrey), Teresa Shoemaker (Nathan), Shannon Pettit (Steve), Christy McGrath (Richard) and Melissa Norman (Bert); and his siblings, Sara Wells, Peggy Rozar, Johnny Strickland and Jim Bob Strickland. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
