With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Thornton of Fernandina Beach, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Thornton and Mildred Thornton; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his children, Lena Ramsay (Bobby), Laura Beran (Josh) and Layton; his grandchildren, Aidan, Gigi, Mila, Fletcher and Charlie; and his sister Judy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barnabas Center, Fernandina Beach (Barnabas Center - Community Services for Nassau County FL).
