He was predeceased by: his parents, Adda Ramsay and William Ramsay; and his son Jay Ramsay. He is survived by: his wife Terry DeVito Ramsay (Terry) of Fernandina Beach; his children, Lori Long (Ramsay) of Katy, Robert W. Ramsay Jr. "Bobby" (Lena) and William J. Ramsay "Billy" (Marsha); his grandchildren, Kylie Long, Danielle Ramsay, Nicholas Ramsay (Stefanie), Aidan Watson, Reed Ramsay, Parker Ramsay, Piper Ramsay and Fletcher Ramsay; and his great grandchild Sofia Ramsay.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mandarin High School Athletic Booster Club in support of the Mustang football program where Bob's son, Bobby Ramsay, is currently the head coach (mandarinhighathletics.com or Mandarin High School, Athletic Booster Club, 4831 Greenland Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32258).

He was such a good and healthy man it’s almost unfathomable that this happened to him. He helped me so much when my son died. Helped me t o know how to get over it and go forward. Also made a major positive impact on my career and careers of many others. I will miss him lots although I hadn’t seen him since you all left Tarpon. Hope you’ve found a way to recover”
