He is survived by: his wife Leah Ward-Lee of Fernandina Beach, FL; his son Travis Lane; his stepson Tony Lee; his siblings, Nancy Gunther Lane (Greg Gunther) and Stuart (Vonda Lane); his nieces and nephews, Kate Eltrich, Lisa Peña, Jessi Eltrich, Isabel and Joe Lane; his great-nephew Max; and his great-niece Emilia Peña.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks instead that you a consider a donation in Sam's honor to Community Hospice Jane & Bill Warner Center for Caring, Fernandina Beach.
