She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Avery and Teressa Smith Avery Page; her stepfather Clarence Page; her husband John Edward Edge Sr.; her sons, John Edward Edge Jr., Raymond Andrew Edge and William Eric Edge; her siblings, Geraldine Avery Gore, Morris Avery and Victory Avery; and her sister-in-law Jo Avery.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Jean Edge Tiner (Brian) and Dana Jeanette Edge; her brothers, Herbert Avery and Jimmy Avery (Judy); her half-siblings, Clyde Avery and Lisa Avery Byrum (Bob); her grandchildren, Andrew Edge (Sara), Elizabeth Pittman (Danny), D. J. Stewart (Brooke), Mason Tiner, Harrison Tiner and Keegan Stewart; and her great grandchildren, Liam Edge, Oaklyn Stewart and Taytum Stewart.
Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Shelba's name or to North 14th St Baptist Church.
