She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Nelson and Lucille Nelson; and her brother David Nelson. She is survived by: her friend Shirley; her husband Ken Owens; her son Scott Owens; her daughter-in-law Mary; her daughter Kelly Berg; her son-in-law Scot; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Bobby, Freddy, Lucy and Joan. She is also survived by her husband, walks on the beach with her children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to America's Youth, Barnabas and The First Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund.
