Suzanne leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Suzanne’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Suzanne will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Ruth (Ketner) and Lowell Sowers, and stepmother Marnet; husband: Ernest Powers; brother: Lowell Sowers, Jr.; children: Patti (John Craddock), Laurie (Chuck Norwood), and Drew (Mary Powers); grandchildren: Suzanne (Annie) (Joseph), Cara (Jackie), Erica (Jeremy), Nathan (Haley), Brandon, Zyler, and Avery; great-grandchildren: Enzo, Arlo, Jonathan, Jordan, and Camden; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maxwell Hall at Memorial United Methodist Church (601 Centre St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034).
