He is survived by: his wife Ernie Faye Burkett; his children, Ferrell Burkett (Heidi) of Fernandina Beach and Wendy Shelton (Carl) of Byron Georgia; his grandchildren, Amber Edwards, Erica Shelton and CJ Shelton; his great grandchildren, Jonah and Abe; his sibling's children, Trent Cady (Serena) and Heather Braddy (Todd); and his close friends, Damon and Jamie Rowland.
