We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2023, at the age of 81, Bette G. Rountree of Flagler Beach, Florida passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bette G. Rountree to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband W. Vance Rountree; and her brothers, Thomas Halsey and Robert Halsey. She is survived by : her children, Kathleen (Michael Smith), Brian (Helen Debus), Patricia Youse and Kenneth (Joy Settembrino-Debus; her step-sons, Wycliffe (Gaye Rountree) and Wallace; her grandchildren, Sean Debus, Megan Debus, Nicole Bani, Kevin Debus, Ashlyn Youse, Kristen Rountree, Nicole Rountree, William Rountree and Emma Rountree; and also Donna Rountree.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Bette's name to the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church, 1520 S. Daytona Avenue, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.

“Dear Family, I'm a very good friend of Bette's here in Flagler Beach. We have been friends for many years. I meet her when helping at the Food Pantry in Bunnell, Florida. She & Vance started that pantry, it was in her blood, her mission help others. It was her faith that drove her & kept her strong We would have dinner before she went north in May & then on her return in October. She is at peace with her Lord & her Vance. And God will say "Well done my good & faithful servant" Barbara Royere”
