Jeffrey Salyer wrote a sympathy message

“Sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Poirier. She was my 6th grade teacher at Beacon Elementary years ago. She worked me hard at math and it was then that I excelled. I became a math teacher. She was a wonderful teacher. She was strict but gave me guidance. God Bless! Rest In Peace Mrs. Poirier!!”
