He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Oakes and Nora Oakes; and his wife Janet Munson. He is survived by : his daughters, Emily (Christopher), Allison (Patrick) and Molly (Daniel); his grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah, Nora, Patrick, Mary, Dylan, Andrew and Madelyn; and his stepsons, John (Iris), Matthew and Robert.
