He is survived by: his former spouse Vidalia Costa (Maria Esteves); his daughter Nicole Costa-Prates (Michael Prates) of Somerset; and his grandson Tristen Costa-Prates of Somerset, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by his brother, four sisters, many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great nieces.
