He is survived by: his wife Sallie; his sons, Brian Carroll and Feyd Carroll; his stepdaughters, Toni Russell Davis, Lela Macon Traynor and Jennifer "J. J." Allen; his stepgranddaughter Victoria "Ilana" Cordeiro; his great grandchildren, Elijah and Elise Cordeiro; and his sister Jan Mucci.
