She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Grady Varn and Marjorie Boor Varn. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Francis Colee of St. Augustine; her children, Robert Raymond Colee and Lydia Janice Colee; her stepmother Maribelle Barber Varn; her siblings, Wilfred Varn, Corise Varn, Helen Holton and Marjorie Leonard; her nibling Thomas King; her son Dennis "Bo" King; her daughters-in-law, Anne Rodes Colee, Ronee King and Gaye Anne King; her grandchildren, Sean Candler Colee, Jennifer Ann Filzen, Tanya Colee, Micah Colee, Shelley King, Sarah King and Colter King; and her caregivers, Chantale Simon, Terri Price Marie Josma and Ernide Douzable.
In 2015 she with her brother and sisters donated a parcel of beach property to the Flagler County which was developed for public use as Varn Park.
