It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Peirce of Fleming Island, Florida, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband James Peirce (Jim); her parents, Charles Schabel and Lillian Schabel; and her sister Marilyn Finitz. She is survived by : her daughter Patricia McArdle (Michael); her grandchildren, Michael McArdle (Jennifer), Charissa Dionne (Thomas) and Jared McArdle (Camila); her great grandchildren, Faith McArdle, Madelyn McArdle, Madison Dionne, Harper Sorel, Claire Jean Dionne, Abraham Peirce Dionne, Danica James McArdle and Ella Grace McArdle; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Bernier and Sharon Peirce. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Haven Hospice.
