He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Burdette Allison and Josephine Barrett Allison (Watson); and his sons, James W Allison III and Douglas Allison. He is survived by: his wife Rita L. Allison; his daughters, Cynthia Leo of Middleburg, FL and Christine Lentini of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Brittany Lentini, Alexis Lentini and Haley Leo; and his brothers, Dr. Barry Allison (Debbie) and William Allison (Phillis).
