He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ebener and Anne Ebener; his son Benjamin; and his sister Martha. He is survived by: his wife Mary Melissa Retherford; his children, Robert Ebener (Laura) and Emily Pryor (Will); his grandchildren, Vaden, Warren, Elizabeth, Austin, Addison, Abbie, Skylar, Allie and Kathy; his siblings, Patricia, Danny, Barbara, Mary Beth, Robert, William, Steve, Teresa and Carol; Lance Griffin (Brooke).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russell Haven (2335 Sandridge Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (7190 Hwy 17, Fleming Island, FL 32003).
