He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Charles and Suzanne Adeliade Dowell; his former wife Patricia Dion Dowell; and his son Sean Casey Dowell. He is survived by: his wife Michele E. Miller; his son Mathew M Dowell; his sisters, Monica Spanos (Trent) and Jenifer Simon; his stepson Larry K. Miller, Jr. (Amy); and his grandchildren, Sydney Miller, Collin Dowell, Alaina Miller and Mia Dowell.
