He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Pauline Thomas; and his son-in-law William Sarellana. He is survived by: his father Donald Jackson Thomas; his brother Raymond Thomas (Jacquelyn); his former wife Teresa; and his children, Candace Sarellana, Shellie Heisner (Daniel), Michael James Thomas II (Anastasiya) and Donald Jackson Thomas II. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
