It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nezzie Phillips-Parks (Fleming Island, Florida), born in Royston, Georgia, who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Phillips and Lois Phillips; her sister Cynthia Dian Parks; and her grandchildren, Lee Marshall Phillips Sr., Mertie Lee Phillips Hood, Nellie Balanch Phillips-Sullivan, Obert Phillips, Odis Franklin Phillips and James Marvin Philips.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Parks Tedder (Samuel), Sheila Duket, Glenon Eaton, Mary Sillanpaa, Robin Parks (Judy) and Glen Parks Jr.; and her grandchildren, Kyle Tedder, Jessica Tedder, Delaney Duket, Zane Duket, Ashley Lespron, Kristen VanWingerden, Glen Parks III, Dawn Marie Parks, Stacy Parks, Leah Ramsey-Redwire, Jennifer Kubiak, Jason Sillanpaa, Cindy Allen, Kimberly Wagner, Mindy Robbins and Melissa Cox. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
